“C’era una volta, once upon a time…” EVENT

The prestigious “Centro Culturale Altinate/San Gaetano” of Padua will present the exhibition of the AC Calendar 2012 entitled “C’era una volta, once upon a time…”. In the background, historical pictures taken from AC calendars of the past, whose first edition dates from 1964. In the centre of the scene, the images of the last publication 2012 stand out: a calendar based on an unexpected and explosive concept, comprising 12 fairy-tale photos in which the AC tractors, the unchallenged protagonists of the scenes, are matched with fabulous female creatures in costumes. Each “fairy tale” narrates, ironically though elegantly, a romantic tale of a lady and her tractor. The lady-bee, the Indian girl, the sexy “marshal's wife”, “lady Burlesque”, and then Gretel, the brewer's wife. The actresses in these stories, include Aisha Howard, a top model from Washington: 184 cm of exotic beauty, matched with the four-track Mach4 tractor for which she seems born to pose with. The two together tell the love story of a natural beauty (human) and a technical outsider (the quadtrack Mach4) on a midsummer night’s evening on a moonlit, Mediterranean beach… because it is not a sin to dream, says the calendar pay-off.

The photographic exhibition of the AC Calendar 2012 “C’era una volta, once upon a time…” will take place from 22th to 27th November, 2011 (10 am – 7 pm). The highlight of the exhibition will be in the evening of the 24th November, starting from 7 pm, with a party open to friends and fans of the 4 rotating horses brand, worldwide leader for compact tractors. Music, dance, beauty and above all photographic art in the centre of the scene.
