FIERAGRICOLA – ITALY

With 130 thousand visitors, over 1.000 exhibitors and 600 animals on display, Saturday 6th

February 2016 saw the closure of the 112 edition of Fieragricola, a point of reference for the

international agricultural sector. The entire agricultural world met up at Verona for four days.

Antonio Carraro’s presence goes without saying as it displayed its entire series of compact

tractors dedicated to specialised agriculture. Also present were the north Italian dealers, who

relentlessly met with curious customers, interested in the companies new products: the Tony

9800 TR, the duo-track Mach 2, the steering tractors from the Series T Major, the TGF 10900

with pressurised cab certified in Category 4, here bestowed with the Fieragricola Award for

Innovation. On this occasion Antonio Carraro also received the title “Best Seller Award 2015”,

the Oscar of Italian mechanised agriculture dedicated to best commercial performance

throughout the year. A real success for both the Parent company and the dealers in Veneto,

Trentino Alto Adige and Emilia-Romagna who contributed to the event’s excellent result.

FIMA –SPAIN

Fima, the international fair for agricultural machinery held at

Saragozza, closed its 39 edition with the consolidation of its

leadership in the trade fairs for the agricultural sector in southern

Europe. The exhibition beat all records with 227.000 visitors and

a 150,000 square metre exhibition. At the opening ceremony the

President of Aragon, Javier Lambán, defined it as a springboard

for the agricultural and food industry”. At Saragozza AC presented

themost suitable tractors for themarket segment’s characteristics,

focussing on technological innovation, the Italian company’s

calling card: the much evolved Tony 9800 TR and the new Series T

Major in primis. “Once again we have succeeded in surprising the

public with our cutting edge ideas” said Justo Sampayo, Director

of ACIB, “and this fill us with pride!”

AGROTICA -GREECE

Agrotica is the international fair for agricultural machinery and equipment, held at the International Exhibition and Congress Centre atThessalonika.

Panagiotis Katsaros, long term AC importer for Greece displayed on his stand the AC tractors most suitable for Mediterranean crops: from the small

and manageable Tigre 4000 to the more specific TGF 7800S Protector 100 cab Category 4 as well as the reversible TRX 10400 and TRH 9800. Exactly

because of the specific nature of the tractors on display, the AC stand was one of the most visited at the fair.

Adana is a prominent agricultural fair in the South of Turkey for the compact and specialised

tractor market segment. Also here the display concentrated on the models from the Series

T Major, which were very positively received by the those customers coming from the local

provinces of Gaziantep and Sanliurfa, where many cultivations of pistachios, almonds, olives

and table grapes are to be found. There was good participation from satisfied customers

who already use the AC tractors from the Ergit 100 Series in the citrus fruit plantations in the

provinces of Mercin and Adana.
