THE LATEST ADDITION TO THE TONY FAMILY

A new "wide track" version with low centre of gravity is the latest addition to the Tony family of isodiametric tractors with hybrid mechanical-hydrostatic transmission with electronic control. The special configuration of this version renders it ideal for working across slopes (haymaking in particular). Available with the optional Extracomfort cab suspended on Silent Block mountings, it offers a particularly comfortable and roomy driving position. The engine is a 4-cylinder turbo Kubota with electronic Common Rail injection that delivers 98 hp and is Stage 3B compliant. The 540/540E and groundspeed PTO features electrohydraulic control with progressive engagement.

The Tony transmission allows operators to customize their own working method, optimizing results and simplifying procedures. Diagnostic software constantly monitors tractor data to ensure optimal performance in all working conditions. The transmission uses SIM (Shift In Motion) technology with 4 electronically-controlled speed ranges, which can be engaged when the tractor is both stationary and moving, with 3 acceleration modes for each range and 3 for each range in Automotive mode.

INTELLIGENT TRACTOR AC > The ITAC operating system allows the operator to interface with tractor to complete the task in hand. The TMC (Tractor Management Control) function offers various possibilities for working in automatic mode, including: Automotive Cruise Control, which maintains a constant ground Wspeed for an optimal engine rpm; Intellifix, which ensures maximum torque for the preset rpm when working with a load on theW PTO; Automotive, which ensures acceleration is proportional to engine speed.

Steering wheels

The short wheelbase and tight steering radius make the tractor extremely agile in crop rows. To further reduce the turning radius, the steering* brakes can be utilized, while accentuating the steering effect obtained thanks to the double-acting constant velocity joints.
