TRACTOR DRIVING COURSES

Antonio Carraro has signed a two-year agreement to become the official technical sponsor for the driving training courses carried out by Safety Park, a safe driving centre located in Vadena (Bolzano, Italy). Introduced by the Italian government in March 2013, these courses are mandatory for all drivers of agricultural and forestry tractors, who are required to attend basic or refresher training on the risks associated with driving agricultural vehicles, within the year 2015.
The courses include both theory and practical driving tuition and participants receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the training. For this training program, AC has provided five tractors of different types and horsepowers (SRX 9800, TRH 9800, TTR 7800, Tigrecar 8400 and TTR 4400 HST II) that will be used in a variety of potentially hazardous conditions, including slippery bends, driving with trailers, sudden obstacles, starting on slopes with rear or four-wheel drive, on- and off-road driving.
The agreement highlights the importance Antonio Carraro attaches to safety and accident prevention and to responsible vehicle use when operating agricultural tractors.
